Free Workshop: Working with SAG-AFTRA and Low-Budget Agreements
Price: $0.00

Join us for a special workshop with SAGindie on working with SAG-AFTRA and Low-Budget Agreements!

Overview

SAGindie is an independent film organization that helps bridge the gap between low budget indie film productions and SAG-AFTRA, the union that represents professional screen and voice actors. SAGindie’s NY Consultant Michael Sladek will present a workshop that digs into the details of why both separate organizations exist, what the details of their Low Budget Agreements are, and will offer insights about how to navigate the process of working with SAG-AFTRA and its members. www.SAGindie.org

Presented With

SAGindie promotes the working relationship between professional actors and passionate independent filmmakers. Since its formation in 1997, SAGindie has been traveling to film festivals, trade shows, and conventions spreading the word: Just because your film isn’t produced by a studio doesn’t mean you can’t use professional talent. As a free resource, SAGindie offers filmmakers clarity and kinship by guiding them through the SAG-AFTRA signatory process, making it even easier to hire professional actors, regardless of budget. SAGindie is made possible by a grant from the SAG-AFTRA Producers Industry Advancement & Cooperative Fund.
