Ana Sophia Heger
Ana Sophia Heger stars as Polly.

Ana Sophia Heger was born in Burbank, California, on Oct. 28, 2013. When she turned three, she expressed an interest in acting. In her first big audition, Heger landed a series regular role on the single camera comedy “Life in Pieces” on CBS. She performed on the show for two seasons while still attending preschool. Her next big role came while in kindergarten, playing the daughter of Amanda Seyfried and James Norton in the 2021 Netflix thriller Things Heard & Seen.

Following a three-year hiatus from acting, Heger jumped back in at 10 years old and landed the role of her dreams as Polly in SHE RIDES SHOTGUN. Director Nick Rowland and Ana’s co-star, Taron Egerton — as well as the entire cast and crew — have gifted her with the opportunity of a lifetime, reigniting her love of storytelling and collaboration with amazing people. Heger can’t wait for everyone to see the film and share in her joy.

Normalcy is a priority for Heger’s family, and they ensure she is selective with roles and maintains her regular daily activities. Heger still attends her public school, and is currently in fifth grade. Through the years, she has participated in many sports — competitive cheer, dance, track, and tennis, to name a few. She also has a passion for sketching and painting, and has built quite a collection of artwork.

Heger is fluent in both German and Spanish, and hopes to learn more languages. Semi-retired actor René Heger is her father, acting coach, and mentor.

In December 2018, Heger happily became a big sister to Luke René Heger.
