The Gotham is now accepting Spotlight on Documentaries submissions for the 2024 Gotham Week Project Market!
Join Soheil Rezayazdi, Nonfiction Programs Manager, for a live, virtual information session to hear about how to prepare your best submission and what to expect during Gotham Week.
For the first time ever, submissions are open to both Gotham Members and non-members. The regular deadline to apply is May 16. Gotham Members receive access to a special extended deadline of May 30.
Taking place every fall, the Project Market facilitates career-spanning relationships with distributors, financiers, production companies, festival programmers, sales and talent agents, collaborators, and more for all participating creators.
Recent projects to participate in Spotlight on Documentaries include the Oscar-nominated films All That Breathes, Crip Camp, and Ascension. Notable Project Market alumni currently on the festival circuit include 2024 Sundance premieres Union and Seeking Mavis Beacon.
